Terms of service
These terms describe the practical rules for using NameSignal responsibly.
The service
NameSignal monitors public data for possible lookalike domains and checks selected AI systems for brand mentions. Results are signals for review—not guarantees that every threat will be found, that an identified domain is malicious, or that an AI answer will remain unchanged.
Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login, monitor only brands you are authorized to represent, review evidence before making an allegation, and comply with law and provider policies. Do not use NameSignal to harass registrants, scrape targets, or submit false notices.
Takedown drafts
Generated notices are operational templates, not legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing the facts, adding requested proof, deciding whether to send a notice, and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Plans and availability
Paid plans renew through the billing provider until cancelled. Limits shown in the product apply to monitored brands, accessible alert history, and AI checks. We may rate-limit abusive or unusually costly use. The service may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued, and no monitoring system can promise uninterrupted coverage.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, NameSignal is provided without warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
