Has my firm been cloned?

UK and Irish regulators publish a warning each time someone copies a real firm to take its clients' money. Search them for your firm and see whether the fake addresses they named still answer today.

If your firm is named

  • A warning tells the public. It does not remove anything. On 30 September, 17% of the fakes named this year were still online, a median of 72 days later (our research).
  • Tell whoever handles payments, and clients with money in motion, that you never change bank details by email.
  • Get the fake reported to the company it was registered through and its host, with the evidence. We do that for you, and you pay only once it is down.

About this page

The firms and addresses come from the regulators' own published warnings; each firm's page links to them. Whether an address still answers is our own check from outside, dated on the page; we read whether it serves a page and publishes mail records, and never open it in a browser. NameSignal is not part of any regulator and not connected to the firms listed.
